"The GoCashless Challenge was a significant event in my life and career. It was my first internship and later, my first job in the field. Given the subject is about the payment market and its innovations, many doubts I had were cleared up, and I learned a lot.


The Challenge also introduced me to the topic of "instant payment" that was being discussed in Brazil, which is now the famous PIX! It led me to explore areas I was unfamiliar with and understand many exciting points, like how these near-instant transactions would work, blockchain, smart contracts, cryptocurrencies, etc. It was a big surprise for me when PIX was launched. I couldn't believe a project I studied would become a reality so quickly!


With this foundation in the payment field, they also taught us about VisionPlus, the world's largest card processing software,  and COBOL, the area I currently work in.
